Alethea Freidberg is a music industry professional, USC Music Industry alum, and founder of Industry Plant. She is passionate about music, multi-media engagement and community building, and her interests lie within the creative side of the music industry, including digital marketing, A&R, marketing, artist relations, fan engagement, publicity, and brand partnerships. Companies she has worked for include lemontank, BMG, Big Picture Media, Venice, Vintage-T Music, iVoted, and The Paramount, alongside extracurricular involvement for She Is The Music, 840 West, and USC Women In Music. She is ambitious, charismatic, and a natural storyteller.
Career Highlights
- Organized, promoted, and put on sold-out house show “Femme Fever” in collaboration with She Is The Music and USC Women In Music in October 2022
- Presented a social media guidelines evaluation to the corporate communications team as an intern at BMG
- Hosted the Queen Behavior songwriting camp as a She Is The Music mentee
- Worked with Jane Honor and Megan Winsor as an A&R for 840 West, with both artists having multiple songs amass over 100k streams
- Co-founded a new student organization at USC, The Moderator, and facilitated university approval alongside set up of promotional channels, and planned multiple events including our Reverse Q&A event
- Established the @sheisuofficial Instagram account and grew its following by 50% from promoting She Is The Music at campus events

Hayley Brooke is a singer-songwriter and Broadway actress. Originally from New York City, the 22-year-old found a love for singing and songwriting from her time on the Broadway stage. Hayley would describe her sound as a blend between pop and indie, taking inspiration from her Broadway peer Reneé Rapp and singer-songwriters Olivia Rodrigo and Gracie Abrams. If Hayley were a color, she would be purple: her creativity and compassion shines through, coupled with her innate sense of humor. She will be the first one to try to make you laugh, but isn’t afraid to get deep.
In tandem with her songwriting, Hayley is passionate about mental health awareness, and her songs speak on journeys to finding self-love and compassion, while helping listeners feel less alone in their struggles. Her relatable lyrics make every one of her listeners feel heard and seen. Hayley is the older sister who gives you the kind hug you didn’t know you needed. Her upcoming single, “Love Of My Life” speaks of her journey with finding self-worth and love within yourself.
Hayley has a storied history of performing: from her youth experience on the Broadway and US National Tour theater circuits, to her recent live performances for Breaking Sound at Durango Cantina, Bourbon Room, and Tirebiter Brewery, Hayley is one you don’t want to miss gracing the stage.
